A horse was rescued Saturday after it plunged into a well in Agua Dulce, Los Angeles County Fire officials said.
Fire crews responded to a rescue call in the 32500 block of Agua Dulce Canyon Road at 11:17 a.m. after a horse fell 10 feet down a well.
The horse fell into the well on the Agua Dulce Movie Ranch, a place where films are shot on occasion.
The animal was hoisted to safety hours after it fell at 1 p.m.
The horse appeared to be OK.
It wasn’t clear if a movie was being filmed at the time.
