Pillsbury Releases Girl Scout Cookie Baking Mixes

The mixes come in Thin Mints and Caramel & Coconut flavors

Girl Scout Cookie lovers who want a taste of the treats out of season are usually plum out of luck.

No more. The Girl Scouts of the USA has licensed their cookies out to Pillsbury, which is now making baking mixes in Thin Mints and Caramel & Coconut flavors. Pillsbury said in a news release the four baking mixes — for cupcakes, brownies or blondies – are being sold at grocery stores nationwide.

It won't stop the wait for cookies, but the organization hopes the bake-at-home mixes tide their fans over.

"Families can try out their favorite cookie flavors in the form of brownies, cupcakes, and blondies, while they wait for the real thing once a year during Girl Scout Cookie season," said Barry Horowitz, Girl Scouts of the USA chief revenue officer, in a statement.
